The Knights of the CrusadeFounded in 2014 the Knights of the Crusade is the militant arm of the Castles & Crusades Society. The Knights purpose is to serve the community at large by running games at local stores and conventions, and creating content for members of the Castles & Crusades Society and players of the Castles & Crusades role playing game. Members enjoy discounts, exclusive content, insider information and more. If you are a member of the Castles and Crusades Society you may become a Knight of the Crusade and gain rank by overseeing organized play events at retail shops and conventions, and by writing material for the Library. |

The Castles & Crusades SocietyThe Castles and Crusades Society was founded in 1968 by Gary Gygax. It is a loose organization of like-minded individuals who enjoy many different types of games. With the success of Dungeons and Dragons in the 1970s the Society took a back seat and eventually vanished from the public view. After a long hiatus the Society was reborn with the birth of the Castles & Crusades Role Playing Game in 2004. Fans such as Robert Doyle and John Wright took up the mantle of the society, creating a community of gamers that harkened back to the original. Through forums, publications, and websites like this one they shared ideas on monsters, classes and other aspects of the slowly growing game.
