WhosYerCon, Mar. 31 - Apr 2
Hey, all! I'll be running (most likely) two sessions of C&C at this Midwest (Indianapolis) Con, possibly more! I've done it three of the last four years and had a blast every time.
Further details about WhosYerCon can be found at the WhosYerGamers site, http://whosyergamers.org/ . If you're local, or don't mind traveling a little ways to go to a still-smallish but definitely growing convention, check it out and join the fun!
Oh cool! That's not very far from me. I've been to GenCon Indy a few times. What is WhosYerCon like?
Let me know if you'd like me to put it up on our social media when people can sign up for games.
Hey all!
Sorry for the lack of updates. WhosYerCon is a fairly small but definitely growing free Con that has been located on the west side of Indianapolis for the past few years. Definitely not the level of Gen Con, but a lot of fun for a weekend and not as huge a wallet drain. Last year's attendance, for instance, was over 2400 people, with 680 events and attendees from all over Indiana, Ohio and Illinois (2016 stats here ). Free to attend, but $25 and $100 sponsorship nets you a swag bag (with some great swag!) and helps to fund the annual con and provide help in the central Indiana gaming community.
Further details are available at the WhosYerGamers site, here.
Tim, by all means, I am waycool with posting that the Con's available. The dates are March 31 through April 2 at the Indianapolis Wyndham West hotel, and for out of towners wishing to stay, rooms are available for $97 a night (booking can be done through the WYC site). I will be running one (currently-- I have to check my available schedule to see if I can run two or more!) session of C&C, my Missing Ring scenario, Friday night March 31 at 6 pm. It was very well-received last year, is friendly for experienced and new players, and will be making its debut soon in the Domesday Book!
Running the Missing Ring tonight from 6-10 pm in the Golden Ballroom and might be available for some off the grid stuff tomorrow, or just to talk shop! By all means, look me up if you're WYC-bound!
