Hi all, I'll be running a game this Monday Feb 19th @ 5pm PST This game will be intended as an introduction to both C&C and fantasy grounds. Experience/lack of experience in either is fine.
About me: this will be my first time playing/running C&C (mistakes immanent :D) so it will be very laid back. I have played AD&D for over 20 years as both player and DM, recently I have a year of experience running pathfidner. I really like the rule set ofC&C and want to start running/playing it exclusively.
About the game: The party will start in a small portion of a town teetering on the verge of being over run by monsters. What's left of the counsel are looking for a group of hero's to launch a counter offensive to retake the fort thus reopening access to the river.
Currently I have 2 players with one who might play, I'm looking for 2 to 3 more.
Characters will start at level 3, we will create characters together so everyone gets a feel for how to make one. I have an ultimate license on fantasy grounds so players only need the demo to play. We will use discord for communication.
Link to sign up for the game is here:

(looking forward to gaming with you all soon) :D
Hey. Good luck with your game. Just wanted to say that you've made your game page private so following your link leads to a blank page.
There doesn't seem to be much adoption of FG for online play over here, or indeed any promotion of FG by TLG which is surprising, but it is an extremely robust and mature platform.
frankison, Best of luck and hope all goes well. Welcome, you will enjoy, Capt
Yeah I closed it down we reached our max players last night. I'll try to get another one of these going again soon.
I just wanted to say thank you to my players that showed up last night.
Running a one shot was an interesting experience to say the least, I was a little woried the players wouldn't get into it, but that was not the case. Everyone was role playing and acting in a manner that made it feel like an on going campaign. Once we started going character personalities started shing through and the game did not feel like it was going to be just one night.
I can't wait to roll out an actual campaign. Thank you TLG for a system that allows me to get that old school feeling of Role Playing back in my bones!
Hey that is great! Sorry I am just seeing this. So it went well? We are trying to ramp up our presence on Fantasy Grounds. You did this online through them? How did you communicate, through skype? twitch? We are still getting our feet wet with online gaming and any thoughts would be appreciated. We hope to even start hosting some games through the KOTC via FG but need to figure out logistics.
I am hoping to run 3 or 4 different one-shot's on FG using C&C as my ruleset and then rotate through them from time to time. I am not sure how this is viewed in terms of Knights of Crusade. Would it be something to claim as an event?

Sorry I didn't reply to this Its been a crazy few months I was retiring from the Military and not able to check these Forums as much, still no excuse not sure how I missed this post.
The game went very well it was a quick down and dirty 4 hour session on Fantasy Grounds. We all played online I had one player who lives in Japan.
For comunication we used Discord. Pretty useful obviously since it has capabilities for Video or just plain old voice chat.
I'm 3 weeks into my current campaign which I have been updating in the forums campaign log section.
Right now I'm looking for 1-2 more players to join in our Ongoing campaign and will be running one shots for players pretty soon here on a regular bases once things in my personal life stable out a little.
